Welcome to My Journey Counselling! My name is Duval, the founder of this company and an accredited member of the Australian Counselling Association. My passion for counselling began in high school, where I navigated social and personal challenges and longed for more support. This personal experience inspired me to study Counselling and after seven years of experience in the field, to create My Journey Counselling. I am dedicated to helping young people enjoy their childhood and teen years through understanding and advocacy.

My experience in diverse therapeutic settings, from school settings, rehabilitation centers, juvenile justice, and government programs, has helped refine my ability to provide targeted support for those facing specific challenges. This background empowers me to deliver compassionate, effective counseling across a spectrum of needs, fostering healing and resilience in the communities I serve.

I am a mentor and an advocator focusing on evidence-based practices that aid the growth of children and adolescents facing mental and social difficulties.
